Fiber SenSys, Inc. Receives LenelS2 Factory Certification Update Under the OpenAccess Alliance Program

Fiber SenSys, Inc. interfaces with LenelS2’s OnGuard access control security system for all Fiber Defender® FD3XX and FD5XX products

HILLSBORO, Oregon, March 22, 2019 — Fiber SenSys, Inc. (FSI) announced that it has received LenelS2 factory certification with the OnGuard® version 7.5 access control system, continuing participation in the LenelS2 OpenAccess Alliance Program (OAAP). FSI’s Fiber Defender® FD3XX and FD5XX products interface with the OnGuard platform to provide a unified security environment that includes physical perimeter security. By utilizing a high-level interface between the LenelS2 and FSI products, the customer can benefit from a single interface for their entire security solution. This single interface means that only one monitoring solution is needed for both systems, simplifying the total solution and reducing the cost of training that would be needed.

“Fiber SenSys, Inc., has completed required factory testing at LenelS2 to validate the functionality of its interface to the OnGuard system. This allows the user to monitor the perimeter/outdoor intrusion, tamper, secure, faults and other security related alarms from Fiber Defender units using the same interface used for their access control system,” said John Marchioli, OAAP Product Management, LenelS2. “We look forward to FSI’s continued involvement in the LenelS2 OpenAccess Alliance Program.”

Fiber SenSys, Inc., is a wholly-owned subsidiary of OPTEX CO., LTD, the world’s largest manufacturer of outdoor security sensors. Optex is publicly traded on the Tokyo stock exchange.
