The Device SDK provides an Application Programming Interface (API) for locating, connecting to, changing settings on, and monitoring FD3xx and FD5xx APUs across a TCP/IP network. Monitoring includes notification of alarms, faults, communication failures, and tampers. The vocabulary of settings depends on the APU but matches those exposed in Fiber Commander’s APU settings form.
